After reading a WCIF thread at Plumb Bob Keep and seeing the mod made by CandyToast over at MATY, I decided to make my own version of this, one that actually works with Almighty Hat's book covers.
What is it? 45 Replacement images for the plot elements screen when your Sim is writing a novel. All these images come from public domain clip art I found here and there on the web, and have a medieval/fantasy theme.
(The strange yellow squiggle is a heraldic representation of a Fleam, a device used for bloodletting in medieval medicine)
So now your Sim can write exciting tales of war and treasure!
...or thrilling tales of how bread is made, whatever suits their style...
If you want to also change the speech bubble images for when your Sims talk about their novels, try my speech bubble replacements, here.
As I said, this will work with custom novel cover replacements like Hat's, it just needs to load last, so I've added a few Z's to the name to help with that. It simply goes in the top Download folder with your other files. Freetime or Apartment Life (or possibly M&G) are required.
If you don't like my chosen pics (we all have different tastes), you are welcome to use my file as a base to add your own pictures in.
