Effulgent - 60 New Skintones

I wanted a skintone set that really covered a lot of bases, with a wide range of coloration, but I couldn't find one I liked, so I made one myself. “Effulgent” is a set of 60 skintones embracing a large spectrum of colorings with distinctive undertones.

The skins run the gamut from extremely pasty white to so dark it's almost true black, and lots of shades in between, so that you can pick and choose what you need. The hope is to allow a good range of diversity for our hoods.

These skins are based on Needlecream's edit of Enayla's Opaline skin, and further edited by me to remove things like side seams. Then I took my base skin and ran it through AlfredAskew's RGB color actions twice for each tone.

The RGB actions give the skintones undertones that are either red, blue, or green, which makes it a bit hard to try to arrange them by shades of lightness or darkness, so you may disagree with my numberings, but it also gives nice depth of color to the skins, great for all sorts of ethnicities and races.

I also ran them through a program to remove excess pixelation, so the skintones should be nice and smooth, even the darker tones.

The skins are for the base Maxis size only. G-Knee has a great, easy tutorial for transferring them to body shapes; find it here. They are NOT townified OR geneticized, as that tends to be a personal preference, so they will be dominant skintones if you use them as-is, and will not show up on townies. There are many resources out there to help you do your own townifying and geneticizing, here is one of them. Files are compressorized.
